Mermaid (Paper) Doll

I generally prefer making double sided paper-dolls. The hair/head sizes and shapes made this one more complicated. The doll with the smaller headpiece is what I used fort a March 2014 swap.

This mermaid is still at home with me, awaiting a necklace on the paler side.

I am happy with all of the four faces.

Chunky Row House

Flat house, 4-6 inches wide and x- y inches tall. N=Mine was on the larger end of the size requirements. A bit more black was added to this side with text.

And the other side, in whole and a detail.

Found Object PCs

I was surprised by how orange and beige the ephemera of the week was - barely a cool touch of color.

Mail ART

technical & interpretative: Use at least one of  the interpretive themes; the technical piece is compulsory

Partner #1:Interpretive: forever, pink, face Technical: tiny text
The watercolor I used on the strips of "tiny text" came out much darker than I expected.

Partner #2 - Interpretive: love, bright, fairytale Technical: half/half color envie (My partner's favorite colors are: purple, green, yellow.) I wanted to do a "Princess Frog" envelope but my concept was not working - so I went with Peter Pan, and enclosed tea - so she can pick an adventure now or after.

and another - added 3/20/2014 - with a real fairy tale - but you have to decide if it is for "The Princess and the frog" or "The Frog Prince":
