Faux craft store: 18" doll clothes

Adorable - but still needs hook and loop tape on the back before it can be called finished.

Some one said that they preferred a couple of 2 inch strips of velcro to one long 6" strip - that it made the clothes easier for the youngest to get off. I'm ready for opinions. I know my dd does not like velcro-style hook and loop tape at all, "that sound!"

One of the keys to speed sewing is to have everything use the same color thread. Here's what I have done in black. The black pants with the white-ish eyes are glow-in-the-dark. The eyelet tank worn by humans would want a little something underneath - it may be fine as is with a 18" doll.

Before that I did some pieces with pink thread:

Chef sets:  So far it is a reversible apron and a chef's hat (or two). In the future, I may add an oven mitt.  I looked online and the cheapest I saw for just an aprons (not necessarily reversible) was $6.
Putting some of it together and older details. Many hats and all the bags (so far) are reversible.

Just bottoms:

Seems many like matchy-matchy may sell well - either a set for the doll - or maybe two friends who want their dolls to be able to match. No child ssized buckets ready yet. I think the hats and skirts (alone) would be $6-$8.
There are at least 3 bucket hats done so far. The pink hat in the photo above is reversible to the blue with green worms pattern. The camo and black hate are from a "safari hat" pattern and not reversible.

Scrappy Postcards

I think there will be 2 swaps and 3 postcards with a scraps from your crafts theme this month.

The first ones I finished are:

Red/Grey Duo Postcard

This one I made first - and trimmed to the right fit - for the art.  Then I realized the swap had a hard 5 x 7 inch requirement.  I will send it a day or so after the official one.

Little ATC houses

How different the same ATc looks with a different background. The 2nd hlaf of the 1st ATc's name is "jungle yard".  Maybe "kempt house, jungle yard"?

3-D paper doll

I haven't done any paper mache in years and years, and I have never worked with "paper clay".

I hsould have sanded more inbetween.

I liked the face - until I tried to put beard stubble on.
